The first video clip I ever made, back in the early 90’s. Friends of mine had a band called Sedwick Pie. I was just starting in the television industry as an editor and naturally started to get the urge to want to take my own shots as well. So this was a perfect project at the time. I got the experience to make a music video clip from start to finish and they got a video clip. It helped to get them gigs across the country.
We had a cargo trolley to pull us around this huge old warehouse in the Rocks. The camera was a betacam SP on loan from Andrew Jones at Brand new Digital, and the edit suite was in Dr. What Video in Bondi Junction, where I started my editing career with the passionate wine documentary film maker Neal Crisford.
Watch them rock out! with special appearance by the dog named “hello’ – true!
